When is it duck or rabbit hunting season in Scotland?

Just recently saw a small deer knocked down at the side of the road. I thought that it would make a good meal or two. I can't understand why people just leave them to rot at the side of the road instead of taking them home to eat.

It's been replaced with English-hunting season.

that's a lie. it's not really a "season", it goes on all year round.

Duck Shooting

Season from 1st September to 31st January

Pigeon and Rabbit Shooting

No closed season for Pigeons and Rabbits

killing innocent animals is right.. animals have rights
i must applaude you on your outlook of wildlife, i saw a dead badger the other day at the side of the road, it was early hours of the morning so i knew it had'nt been dead long so i stopped to have a look. on close inspection it was still alive so i put him in the front passenger seat of my car and took him home.what a mistake that was!! he ate my my takeaway burger and slept with my wife! i was really mad about him eating my burger because i was really hungry ..the swine.
if an animal is killed without leting out its blood, the blood contaminates the meat. It wouldn't be very wise to try and consme roadkill mate
