Anyone good with cars? I cant find the bit where you put transmission fluid into the car. Can anyone help?.?
Theres one dip stick on the engine where im not sure what it is but i just need to check before i put some in?

On any automatic transmission you put the fluid in where the dipstick is.Make sure it is the transmission dipstick,you don't want to put it in the oil dipstick.You put the oil in the oil cap which is located on the egine block.On a front wheel drive the oil dipstick is in front of the motor close to the radiator and is usually red,the yellow dipstick is the transmission and it's usually located in the back of the egine block close to the windshield.
Most gear boxes are sealed units and are not designed for owner/ DIY maintainance.
That's a typical RTFM*-problem!

Too easy if you know how to check the transmission oil.
For engine oil dip stick holder colour is yellow and marked with a sign of driping oil can.
Transmission oil dipstick would be plain metalic holder with No sign on it and this one should be located near the fire wall.
If you still not sure check the dipstick barrel where it ends if its end with engine block then its for engine if it ends with gear box then its for ATF.
Now start the engine and leave the engine running leave your transmission on Park position go out side take out the transmission dipstick and put ypur transmission oil on the same hole of the dipstick.
It looks too small but ya she will take the oil.
Some automatic transmissions don't have a dipstick. Instead, there's a plug you remove on top of the transmission.
