Just replaced the standard Vauxhall radio cassette with a CD player - working fine, but have noticed that the LCD display that shows the mileage clocking up has gone blank..surely this is nothing to do with the fact that Ive changed the stereo?? could it be that I just need to replace a bulb behind the dashboard for the LDC to display again??

If you haven't fitted a vauxhall CD player, you could have blown the circuit on your speed ometer. When you play the CD player does the time/date display show a CD/casette playing, if not the CD player you have fitted isn't compatable with your vehicles system. If you have steering wheel controls they will work if it is compatable.
