What is the highest cc motorbike?
Answers:
I don't know why anyone would say the 502ci Boss Hoss is not a production bike, they sell a lot of them and they are all the same unless you ordered a custom one with something different.
I think Honda do a 1500cc Goldwing. There was talk in MCN about a 2 litre diesel Goldwing but I dont think it got off the drawing board.
Norton also did a massive engined machine but it never got beyond the concept stage either
The highest capacity production bike was, I believe, the 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000, with a 2,054cc engine.
However, homebuilt specials have been made with much bigger engines. In the UK, there are several which make appearances at classic and custom bike shows which sport a 3.5L Rover V8 engine. The world motorbike speed record is held by Dave Campos at 519.609 mph on his streamliner 'Easyriders', which was powered by two 1,500cc Harley Davidson engines.
The largest cc bike would be the Boss Hog with a Chevrolet 7,400 cc or 454 ci
250cc ?
Motorbikes were limited to around 250cc's of displacement.
Above that the machine was labeled a motorcycle. Current displacement for production motorcycles is hovering aorund 2000 cc's.
2294 cc, the largest production engine, currently made by Triumph for its Rocket III cruiser-style motorcycle.
The largest displacement purpose-designed engine (that is, one designed to be a motorbike engine and nothing else) is the Triumph Rocket III engine, at 2294cc - three huge cylinders! Otherwise you're looking at things like the Boss Hog, a bike built around a Chevy V8 7-litre engine, but that doesn't count as a motorcycle-specific engine.
The Boss Hoss 'Big Boss'.
8,194cc Chevrolet V8
502bhp
567 ft/lbs torque
2-speed semi-auto, with reverse
Starts at £30,000
There are big bore kits available (seriously!) - takes 'em out to 9,902cc.
If you mean production motocycles, the Rocket III. The Boss Hoss is not considered a production motorcycle and Marine Turbine Technologies LLC, makes a bike with a jet turbine engine that is much larger than a GM V8.
The Triumph Rocket III is a regular production motorcycle so I agree with those that say the Rocket III.
that y2k bike has sold over three hundred bikes now so i would say it counts as a production bike, after all the honda nr750 only sold fifty bikes and was cosidered a production bike and with a Rolls Royce Allison 250 series gas turbine engine i would say it was the biggest you can get
The Triumph Rocket 3 is the biggest production motorcycle in the world. 2.3l
try the triumph Rocket III at 2.3 litres
The highest cc motorbike currently in production it the Triumph Rocket III its a 2.3 litre triplr. Very fast for a cruiser
i believe its the honda goldwing can hav up to 1800cc
