Turning the airbag dashboard warning light off - peugeot 106?
The airbags have been checked and are intact and safe.
However the dashboard warning light for the airbags comes on and stays on. Is there anyway to get rid of this light without spending £sss for a peugeot dealer to plug in a computer for 20 seconds.

my girl's right, it's a peugeot thang.
the girlfriend has a 106 with exactly the same problem,
hers only comes on intermittently now after peugeot dealer fiddled with it, but they couldn't fix it.
you might want to check the thick orange wires that run under both front seats, they have some part to play with the airbag system - and this is what the mechanics had replaced sections of when they had a fiddle.

you don`t have to take it to a main dealer most garages are equipped to interface with most makes and models and if the light does stay on it has a fault and being a 106 it will be the wiring harness under the driver seat or the seat belt pre tensioner or the wiring behind the actual air bag call a Squibb circuit
