How long does it take for a speeding ticket to arrive after having been flashed?
Answers:
If your in the UK then by law the notification has to be sent to the vehicle's registered owner within 14 days, or it is unenforcable. From personal experience, (only twice though!) the notification takes 6-10 days.
Hopefully there was no film in the camera!
Good luck
usually within a week
I wonder too.. it will have been a week for me I don't think they got me after all !!
were you flashed twice? and are you sure its an active camera and not a bogus one of which there are loads of them around these days. I think it takes anything between one day and 2 weeks.. i wouldn't worry about it to be honest.
It can take up to 28 days, but thats at the latest. Normally within 2 weeks
Less than 24 hours
its usually 10 to 14 days, but it can be up to 28 days, that's if there was film in the camera, which some don't have
If a private individual:
In the UK there is a 15 day rule. PLUS two days allowed for postal delays.
I fit arrives after this then it has 'timed out'. (17 days)
The letter ALWAYS goes to the registered keeper and THEY must either admit to the offence, do nothing (pointless as the system does not allow you to and you get an S172 offence - failing to provide details ) or nominate the driver.
BUT, (big but), if it's a company registered vehicle they have up to 6 MONTHS to find and procecute the offender.
in south Africa it takes 1 month from the date u received it
i was on holiday and got flashed on the monday and by the time i got home on saturday it was sitting on the door mat..welcome home
dont know for sure, here in phoenix az, you can ignore the ticket because they actually have to serve you in person. Which is why I never answer my door!
14 to 21 days
If you are in Zimbabwe you get it on the spot
10 days enough time to leave the country then
