2002 scenic renault wont start turns over will not fire up?

Have you got petrol in it?
immobiliser has kicked in. Try switching the key fob on and off repeatedly, it usually works.
can only be one of two things ,out of or low petrol ,or no spark ,check these.
under the bonnet close to the bonnet hinges you will find a switch it has a red rubber cap ovr try pussing that down a try to start it.That is the fuel cut off switch
Try pauls advice.Have you bumped up a kerb or had the car jacked up? if u have you will need to reset the fuel safety cut off switch.

If there's no spark it will be the crankshaft position sensor. It sits above the flywheel, on top of the gearbox and costs £18 from Renault. Fitted one to my cousins car yesterday.
