How much of brazil is covered by forest?

Answers:
More than 5 million km2
60%.. but the figure's going down all the time. :o(
less each day :(
i thought it was 70 0/0!
It is a suprisingly metropolitan country in MANY areas. You have to go very far west and north to find the amazon areas and major rainforest. The general country-side is quite beautiful without being a true forest. Lots of open fields, very simlar to Texas hill country in many ways.
its disappearing fast.

by the way, you're in the wrong category!

You want to know about insurance & registration is Brazil, no problem. You want to know about percentage of rain forest in Brazil, I'd suggest a good search engine, or Wikipedia, where you will learn it's vanishing at about 15% a year. But that some companies are investing in supplimenting the rain forst.
About 65%, but before it used to be almost 68%
The Rain Forest is 40%
