What do you do about road rage?

It's always the idiots that are in the wrong that make a big song and dance about it! He's a man and they never seem to admit to driving errors. I think it's disgusting how people bully on the roads. If you ever find yourself in that situation again, head towards the nearest police station. Hop you're okay and don't let him get to you, he's just a stupid morong.

If you happen to have a cell phone handy, call 911 if someone starts following you. People are crazy these days.
Yes, it has happened to me and it's why I never drive the car without a weapon handy. The last time it happened some guy waved his pistol at me. when I waved mine back and aimed it at his head, he took off and left me alone.
All the "I'd never own a GUN. I'd call NINE ONE ONE" idiots can stuff it. I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
I just dont show it. I get pissed and come home and take it out on the old punching bag, not woth being hunted and killed you know.
The best thing to do is try and drive curtiously or otherwise carry a baseball bat in the back seat, and smash his head into a thousand pieces
turn your car around, go full speed at him, and hopefully he will turn off into the ditch. Or you could just have a crowbar handy and beat the **** out of him for following you.
Another thing: cops. That's what we call 'road rage' and 'stalking' which are both illegal. So, get the license plate number and make/model of car(if possible, but license plate is best if anything) and then call the cops.
hold up your cell phone so that he can see that you are calling the police. To avoid road rage roll up your windows turn on your favorite music and just enjoy your own company
Oh dear, i would say the only thing to do there is keep your cool. You have to remember that they are the ones losing their cool and you are still being a safe driver against all odds
Best thing is to avoid it at all costs..Don't bother blowing your horn at anyone..Does no good and people are just crazy sometimes..I saw a whole family get killed when someone cut the father off and he went crazy and chased the car down the highway, crashed and all dead..For what?
Conceal and carry. If you feel your life is threatened you can take appropriate action.
That is really scary. I live in Southern California and traffic is a way of life for us. Most people understand that you have to wait to get to where you are going but there is always that one a**hole that just doesn't want to do things the right way. I have had road rage a few times but, I usually just swear and glare at the person in my mirrors and then it's over.

You should have noted his reg no and reported the tosspot to the police pebs. No need for that. I once had that. He got out of his car and started swearing at me. I reported him for his own safety.. because If I had gotten out of my car I would have half killed him the wanker.
Recommend he has anger management, or get his registration plate detalis and report him to the police.
sometimes i debate on wheter or not to pull over and get my AK47 out of the trunk, but usually im too lazy to get out of the car so i take a deep breath and move on with my day.

Get his tag number and call the police. There is no place for that kind of behavior. Next week he will probably be toting a gun with him and shoot the guy that cuts him off. Funny here in South Florida there is a whole crapload of bad drivers but not that much road rage. People just seem to sluff it off like they should. It does get your heart racing when some rages on you like that.

If you don't want to be involve in any "Road Rage Experience" you should start for calming yourself first, if you don't sound the horn the other crazy person will not do anything. I drive all day long and I know for experience that people cut you off in traffic and what I do?? I don't do anything, I keep my cool and hope that the other jerk doesn't kill anybody with that driving. Took me a while to understand that if you want to avoid something bad .start for yourself! That happened to me once, and my daughter was in the car with me. We live not too far from a fire station, so I pulled in there. The jerk who had been following me, honking and flashing his lights for over a mile went right on by.
It was really scary for me too. The guy who followed me drove a big SUV and I drive a small car, so if he would have hit me, it would have been bad.
Always go to a fire or police station, or even to a parking lot of a store if you see a policeman there.

That has happened to me before. I refuse to get intimidated. I've got a fast car, I'm an excellent driver, and I'm a f*cking psycho, so I turn the tables on them =) It's funny how they turn tail and try to lose you when it's clear you're not intimidated by them!
For anyone who is saying to call 911, I don't know where you're from but here in NJ that just doesn't work. By the time you get a live person on the line you could be as good as dead. And if the cops don't witness the road rage for themselves, they don't give a sh!t.
Most everyone has experienced this if they drive.. best advice..just let it go..its not worth getting hurt or going to jail for.You never know what some people are capable of, even normally mild mannered. truth is we are all in too big a hurry these days and most times its not necessary..next time skip the horn and any rude jesters..just call them a few choice names.under your breath that is..

The only way to deal with road rage is to stop your car, get out, explain to the other person that it is impossible that you are in the wrong because you are clearly the best driver in the world then stab them somewhere near Swanley in Kent.
