Squeaky brake peddle?
Answers:
Spray some silicone lubricant spray on the rubber boot at the top of the brake pedal where the rod goes through the firewall.
Use WD40
Actually this squeaky brake pedal could be a worn brake cable ,,where the cable starts to fray at the foot pedal end,,but try everything else mentioned in the other answers first.
Spray all linkages with fine oil and oil the point at which the brake pedal pivots.
Google it
It is not the pedal, it is the brake pads and shoes. What you describe as groaning is likely metal against metal. Brake shoes and pads have metal buttons built in. When your shoes and pads are close to the wear out point, they are built to make noises, so you will know you are approaching an unsafe condition.
you got a problem with rear shoe adjusters one is sized up common with that year easy to sort out
