Are we ever, oh for the halycon days when the earth was flat, news took months to cross the country and the only trans- atlantic crossing was aboard the friggin Mayflower.
Now we have a planet that is changing at an alarming rate, it is already too late to revert climate change yet we have the good ol' US of A denying it exists. The arab world is now, to use a technical term, f**ked. partly because religion will be the end of peace and sanity like it always has been, but mainly because we have the good 'ol US of A telling them how it should be done, and killing them if they don't agree. or at least helping someone else kill them.
The chinese & Koreans are having none of it, are quietly supporting the arabs, waiting for the **** to hit the fan before moving in to take the mantle of 'super power'
but dont worry, we have the good 'ol US of A on our side, so when we run out of fossil fuel either due to the arab conflict or just as there's none left, they'll let us have some of the vast, vast reserves they have stock piled back home for sure.
They wont have to continue to re-write history to gloss over all the f**k ups n massacres they have been involved with. hell, in a nuclear winter, no doubt caused by a Bush of some descent, who the hell will care anymore.

Laws are getting tougher because people are taking the law into their own hands. Its making it hard for Law Inforcement to do their job. Also with all the new tecnology and idenity thefts.
