What would i use to lubricate an electric window in a car,?
Answers:
you need to get a lubricant called electric grease. most likely you may have to go to a shop to get it but you could try a parts house.
WD-40.wonders in a can
Ky?
spray silicone
spray silicone - wd40 makes a mess
If the window is sticking in its channels then you will have to use graphite in the channels to let the glass slide freely. If it is in the mechanism then you will have to remove the door panel/card and spray something like WD40 into the moving parts.
WD40 spray it along the window bottom.it will work its way down, frees it up nicely
i own a repair shop, and i use a white lithium grease its made for that purpose and it does really well ,anything else you put on it is just going to make a mess and draw dust and make the parts wear out you can buy the white grease at any advance auto parts store, and its in a spray can so its easy to use good luck i hope this help,s.
if you mean the widow runner it self nornaly a bit of wd 40 then vasaline
if you mean the moter and gearing wd 40
Use white lithium on the mechanical parts, it's available in spray cans. On the glass track I would use spray can silicone.
WD40 or Vasaline in the side guides
The gear and rack, grease, wd 40 on the tracks etc.
Ordinary grease on the mechanism, fairy liquid on the rubbers, sounds daft but works very well.
silicon sprays like you use to make dashboard shiny
