easy quick way is to remove fuel pump fuse, especially if fuse box is in the dash somewhere,if you look in cars hand book it should list the fuses maybe marked inj fuse
Take the coil wire off every night
Take the wheels off..!
Good luck.
Take the high tension lead that goes from the ignition coil to the distributor cap indoors with you. Or just get it alarmed.
Put your pet Python on the front seat.
buy a nissan
remove the wheels
get a locking gas cap for gas theft, locking wheelnuts for rim theft, get an alarm system if it is prone to theft.. it will pay off.
Keep valuables out of site, get a detachable face radio, get a steering column lock.. take the positive wire off your battery..
wait in the back seat with a hammer
follow Mr Bean. take the steering wheel with you!
Remove the engine its the only way
If it is a petrol engine, you can cut into the low tension circuit cable and insert a switch hidden under the dash where only you know where it is, we used to do this in the 80's when alarms were expensive.
1. if you car is manual you casn have a lock fitted into the gearbox, that will prevent anyone from driving it.
2. run a ht lead to the top of the tank(joke) every night
3. buy a decent alarm which will text you to say your car is under attack
4. a huge man trap
5. buy a crap car.. sort of madmax thunderdome style
I could tell you the ideas i came up with on imobilising motorcycle so you'd end up dead if you try and steal it. but i dont want to get into legal trouble lol
It's all about need. When I'm back home all I need to do to protect it against theft is take the key out of the ignition. Other places It would need to be parked in a secure garage. If a car theft has a flat bed tow truck no amount of alarms, immobilizers, locks are going to stop it from leaving. The best you can hope for is to make your car a harder target than your neighbors. If you want an actual immobilizer then your best bet is to find a local installer in your area and talk to them on what your car needs for the area. He should recommend a product that will work fine and he is familiar with so there won't be any issues after it is installed. Try to look at some of his previous work and try to get references. Past performance might not be a guarantee of future performance but it is a good indicator of what his standard is.
If all else fails you could always switch to a vehicle so old a beat up that no one would want to touch it for fear of having to get a tetanus shot.
FIT A CUT OUT SWITCH ON TO MAIN FEED WIRE TO YOUR CARS FUEL PUMP AFTER STOPPING YOUR CAR SWITCH IT OFF DONT FORGET TO SWITCH BACK ON TO START.. . UK DRIVER..
take out a major fuse which would stop it being started, make sure its daylight or you see where to put it back.
