Were do i find the fuel cut off valve ,some times known as the bump valve in my vauxall frontera?

keeps cutting out at most inopertune moment now it wont start at all ,imoblizer is working ,after unsucessfully trying to start it ishould smell petrol but i cant ,it has been suggested that i could have a faulty fule pump.sender,bump valve ???

passengers side under dash-board on inside of the car same side as front wheel take the caseing of and you'll see it, you can't miss it, although i would say that it is a blocked pump or crap in the carberetta, especially if you have let the vehicle run out of petrol whilst driving.
Frontera does not have bump valve try your fuel pump relay need to know what engine fitted to help further.
