Private sales usually net more cash. And MC C-class stills has a pretty good resale value. If you work with the dealer, tell them you have a trade-in as a LAST part of the negotiation. Otherwise, your final price will be jacked-up a little higher to account for the "free" extra money you're getting on the trade-in--hence, no benefit to you.

Selling it yourself is a hassle. Do you want every slob calling and coming by to take a test drive? Do your research on blue book values and head to the dealer with that knowledge. True you might get a better price from somebody on te street.but what you have to decide is if it's worth the hassle. Good luck
You will always get more money selling your car outright. The only advantage to trading it in to the dealer is if you dont have any down payment. Otherwise, it is to your best advantage to sell it outright because you will get way more money for it. Good luck. I hope you get a good price for it no matter which way you choose.

if you can find an idiot to buy it sell it privately. otherwise you will just have to trade that overpriced peice of crap in .
Really depends on what you want to do. If you sell it privately, you will make more money but you do have the hassle of looky loos and being sure you fill our the papers correctly.
If you trade your car in you WILL NOT make as much money on it.
Definatly sell it private you will get a lot more,plus your in a better position when you go to buy a new one,ive lost thousands trading in,trust me SELL IT PRIVATELY.
