What is the regulation depth for a sun strip on a car?

Answers:
If you look on your windshield near the side there is a little line on there that shows you. On mine it is in the top right corner when I'm sitting in the car. I've had tint below it before though and cops never said anything, as long as it is in reason no one should care. I went to Jamaica and they have tint coming a foot down from the top and a foot up from the bottom, they basically see out of a little slit.
Don't tell me that's regulated, what next?
about inch and half i think to two inchea
Police are fairly lenient upon this matter, but law states that your windsceen wipers must clear the windscreen without touching the sunstrip
In Ill. The law is 6" on the windsheild, factory tint only on side windows. To tint your rear window will get you a ticket,The law doesn't enforce this strongly, but if you get pulled over, expect them to approach you with hand on gun and an attitude!
Down to the AS-1 line.
2 inch
i think it should be ok as long as the windscreen wiper dont touch it. i think this is more focused on those who use stickers instead.(like some streetracers and silly kids)
