I lost one of the battery leads while I was refilling it!! what can I do temporally do to drive safe?

Answers:
you can drive it without the lid or cap for a short time just dont go over any bumpy roads go to any autoparts store they should be ablr to get you one free off a core battey thats simular remember to wash off thebattery and tray when done to get off any acid that spilled
how can you lose a battery lead??
You will be going nowhere if you loose one of the battery leads.
you can't. throw the jew down the well.
..Why did you touch the lead to begin with..in the words of the song "you aint goin nowhere"..maybe you should leave the battery disconnected..
Did you mean lids? If so drive it to where you are going to get it replaced, nothing will happen.
Drive down to the auto parts store and purchase a replacement.
stick a bit of good tape over the top of the whole just to stop anything falling inside the battery such as rust nip to the scrap yard and find one the same and pay for it with the bulbs you got as spares, What is a few quid when its winter time and you need your lights?
you should know that battey fumes created while your engine is running and charging your battery are explosive your best solution would be to plug the hole with something until you get a new lid
