Refurbishing boat cabin. any ideas?

Huge question.. What are your plans for the vessel? Will you be living aboard, day use, overnight outing, social occasions (parties). Each use would require a different cabin. My 29 foot Lancer is set up for live aboard. Limited sleeping space more space in the main salon, a roomy head, and a functional galley. Jim

There is some brilliant new water based paint made by www.berling.gr really nice Greek firm, nothing to do with Berling here. It's like painting with water colour - so easy and comes in a huge range of colours. You can use it inside and out, in matt, silk, or gloss and I know someone who painted the hull of his big Turkish style yacht and that was three years ago and it still looks perfect. There is a chap there who speaks English and you can e.mail him to tell him what you want, or ask him to send a brochure. He offered to supply me in the UK from their Greek HQ. Hope that's of interest. They will mix any colour you want nearest to a Pantone colour but the Greek equivalent.
try a sailing magazine and also get some sound proofing to stop the noise of the engine effecting you

exactly what it was you wanted to do, on the contents
of the cabin itself, on the present interior furnishing
that was not pleasing or no longer suitable for you.
Most important in all of this is your abilities and budget.
No mention was made of the type of boat you are
working on, or where you are located. It is almost
impossible to begin to discuss the subject without most
of this information.
For example: Are you refurbishing the interior or exterior
of this boat cabin?
Do you want to paint it, panel it, cover it with a vinyl or rug material, or fiberglass it? Are the floors okay?
How big is the cabin? What is it made of? Is it two bunks with a Porta Potty, or is it a main salon, forward cabin, and head arrangement?
