sellers on ebay are selling a +20 BHP POWER MODULE?
For virtualy nothing ( a few quid )
i would be gratefull for any information on this.

the "mod".consists of 1 Ceramic Resistor (the mod), 1 Cable Tie & 1 Set Of Instructions including pictures.

what is actually the resistor, why the cable tie and what are the instructions??

Right, what it does is reduce the strength of the voltage thats coming from the lambda sensor in your exhaust fooling the car's engine management system into believing that the engine is cold so that it alters the fuel/air mixture, this they tell us (they being the nobheads that sell these chunks of dump on ebay) that this will boost performance. What it will do is produce less power as the engine will suffer from pre-ignition - or pink its bollocks off as i like to call it, over time it will coke your valves and valve seat guides as the mixture will be so rich all the time that it will produce loads of soot which in turn will produce a loss of compression and performance - basically it will knacker your engine - the shitheads selling these things need a poke up the jacksie with a red hot poker. Under no circumstances buy one - it'll ruin your car.

ps. they are sold by the same clowns that sell what they call an 'electric turbo' on ebay which claims to boost power by forcing more air into the cars airbox.

pss. those are total wankybollocktoss as well.
a generator
what kind of car you have?
i bought 1 something like this for my 2002 trans am and it was bull, but you never know as i have no real ideal what your talking about you need give more info
Hello Santa can u bring me a new car for christmas i know its alot to ask but its what i really want
'Santa, Santa, Santa', you should know what this is.

Do you still have them old smelly slippers of yours ?

A resistor cuts down the current, (I think)

Don't buy, it more than likely wont work !
Its nonsense. I bought one too for my BMW. What your supposed to do is fit it to the air intake sensor so that the car always thinks that cold air is being blown into the engine, resulting in a more powerful detonation thus creating more power.

But its absolute s.h.i.t!

Trust me I bought one for about £2. Worthless.
I believe it fools your car into thinking its still cold, and alters the fuel/air mixture, thus a bit more power (allegedly)

I wouldn't bother myself. I like to put a few quid of Super Unleaded in an empty tank every now and then.. Seems to give a performance boost until it runs out :o)
Don't waste your money on these crappy mods - if you want big power you'll have to pay big money.sorry!

The resistor fool the engine into thinking it needs to add more fuel to the air/fuel mixture. Thereby you engine ends up running rich - eventually clogging up the valves..

Also it's quite possible to fry something during the installation - Ive heard stories of people killing their ecu from being crappy at soldering.

Dont' do it - if you really want to spend 2gbp give them to a beggar instead.

Or you could start saving for a turbo :-)
