My spring has gone in my ignition switch do i need a whole one or just the barrell is it easy to fit?
Answers:
The ignition switch in most vehicles requires you to disassemble and remove the steering wheel itself. If you have an air bag in the vehicle I highly recommend taking it in to have it replaced rather than doing it yourself.
Some vehicles do allow you to change it out by simply removing the steering shaft covers, but this is rare since it would also allow for easy theft of the vehicle.
Get yourself a man!
What kind of car?
You get the whole deal and some are easy others not quite so easy!
Change the complete unit. It is easier than trying to change only the cylinder.
