Decide which car you want, go to the garage see sales person, check you finances, get a quote for insurance, check websites for car performance, such as running costs. Straight forward.

Walk into a sales dealership, holding your checkbook in the air. There will be a dozen or so people that will appear and will gladly take you through the entire process.
You will not have to make a single motion until they ask you to sign a few papers.
Personally, i would do the research first, make sure the car i was looking at was the one i wanted then shop around at dealers and online, and magazines for best prices. Some places will offer o% finance, others a yr free insurance. Some offer a programme where u pay for the car monthly for 3 yrs then trade in foir the newer model.
