Can anyone help with the timing marks for a 1400 'tu' engine?? need to put a new cambelt and belt idler on at the weekend, hoping it will run! The idler collapsed, and it failed to start.. :(

you need to pin the engine, the camshaft hole into the head is at ten past with a 10mm drill bit,and the crank shaft is a 8mm hole down by the oil filter going into the flywheel,you'll have to look hard for it but it is there, good luck these engines do damage valves when something breaks regards alan
