Gear shift problems on 05 avensis?

When i change from first gear into second i get this snatching feeling i brought the car to toyota dealers and they told me they cant feel anything but my wife has also drove the car and has felt the same thing, anyone else with the same problem out there?.

drove one this year and no problem, in fact I thought the transmission was superb, so take it back and insist they fix it under warranty as it is only your car
this is a warranty issue - dont take it back to the dealership you bought it from - they lose points on the franchise - thus risk losing it altogether .trust me i know - take it to another dealership they will be happy to help - they get a good kick back on warranty work - good luck
Hello, I assume its a diesel with the 6speed box. I work for Toyota at the factory in burnaston where the avensis is built. Im quality assurance and particularly in the functionalty deparmet. This was a common problem on the very early 6speed diesels, we repaired many cars in the factory for this concern. Take it back to the dealer and insist they do somting with it. The problem should loosen in time but you dont want to be causing long term damage. Good luck, and dont take no for an answer.
