Mobile phones?

why does this government make laws at great expence like using mobile phones in cars/buses etc that cant be enforced

Answers:
Because politicians make the laws. Most of them are lawyers. Give that a little thought
i am not sure i think it is pretty pathetic myself i guess u shouldn't really use them while your driving but if your in the passenger seat or on the bus or in the back of a car i don't see the problem why we should not be aloud to use them.
Because whatever the cost it is a known fact that driving whilst on the phone takes away concentration. Anything to help this situation and save lives has to be worth it..ask someone who has lost a family member because of it.enforce your own laws of common sense, if your phone rings whilst driving, stop and take your call..don't affect other peoples lives by assuming you are in control.you wont be
Actually, they can be enforced, just like seatbelt laws.

And the laws are there for our safety, to keep idiots like you from talking on the phone and crashing into my car!
