In U.K. law, do passenger buses & coaches have to light the interior of the bus at night?

Answers:
I know that buses have their lights on when it gets dark, but not coaches though. I'm pretty sure this is a practice of common sense, not enforced by law.
UK is Lawless
ONLY IF THERE ARE PEOPLE ON BOARD.THEY CAN DIM THE LIGHTS AT NIGHT .LIGHTS ARE ON FOR SAFETY REASONS. HOPE THAT HELPS
