Why must people use cell phones while driving?

Answers:
not many do here cos it cost them $225 if caught when driving here
convenient, it is very.
that drives me mad! mainly i think its because they're selfish and too busy to care about other peoples safety!
Because they can?
There is a law against it!
Because finding out who Jane went home with last night is far more important than getting from Point A to Point B in one piece.

Translation: They're idiots.
it's better then looking at you
to talk to people not in the car.
Because they are music haters. These people should be destroyed.
I drive kind of late at night and alone, and I use it sometimes to help stay awake, and I also use it for directions, if I am not sure where I am going. I do try to keep it to a minimum though.
i dont know
but when im driving and someone calls me
it get very distracting
i really cant do it
i almost got into an accident from driving and talkin on the phone
You can use handsfree also.
thats not against the law but its still disattracting while driving.
stupidity
It's the reason I got a cell phone. To call my husband to pick up the kids because I am stuck in another #%@&*&$ traffic jam.
we can not expect all the the people to park the vechcle near the roadside to attend a call in this busy world; but anyway accessing mobiles while driving is risky. so people may use some hands free devices for this.
They don't have to use them and probably should not use them while driving. I have seen too many drivers using cell phones that are not paying attention to their driving. Yes, people do many other things in cars that distract them from driving, but it doesn't make it right.
to talk stupid
Because they are stupid kn*b'eads. In the UK the cost of being caught is 3points & a £60 fine & the price of a hands freekit is "around" £40. Mmm - How thick are these people??

Cut off one of their hands, then they would have a difficult choice! If I answer the phone I might crash & die!!

Rant Over

Because the world will stop turning unless they, the most important person in the universe, is on the phone solving the world's problems.

Now can you imagine being a war zone with a driver that not only has a cup of coffee, an apple and a cell phone, driving a Humvee through one lane roads with kids and cows and who know what-else popping up?
I don't know, but it is dangerous, I often see people struggling with the steering wheel and gear lever and telephone at the same time! In this day and age where hands-free and the like are available there's really no excuse but what can one do but hope and prey they cause an accident.
If you see a driver on a mobile on the motorway, pul in front and squirt your windows. The spray goes over your car and onto theirs. It's very entertaining watching them panic and switch hands to put their wipers on.
thats when they receive a call.
Because they are ignorant and have no regard for others.
because their selfish stupid w******!

people take for granted the convenience of a Mobile phone, 20 years ago people coped all right without a mobile phone so they could cope today without them they just don't want too!!!!!!!!!.
They are irresponsible. Driving while phoning as dangerous as DWI, and for the same reasons.
For many it is essential to their job. This is not really a problem though as long as you realize that driving is the first responsibility. I use mine while driving but generally dont when entering the interstate, too dangerous.
They don't have to.they do it to aggravate me.and you.
Because the law said that they must not.
i don't i drive a motorbike but hell i smoke on it
Those driver who use mobile phones while driving are mad ,they should be banned from the road ,they know it's ilegal but still do it and are accidents witing to happen .
Basically they are to stupid and incompetent to realize they are endangering everyone around them. It is simple buy a hands free phone. If you can't afford it don't buy a phone. There should be stiff legal penalties in place for people driving with a phone up to there ear.
