Classic Triumph Bonneville circa 1969/1971.Where is the best place to buy?.?

I owned one of these in 1969 from new. It cost £420. I'm thinking of getting back in the saddle again. I would like to hear about others' experiences of these machines.

Answers:
Have a look at Old Bike Mart, plenty of dealers of vintage bikes in there but be prepared to wait for the right bike for you
Your best bet is to try the classic motorcycle or club sites on the net,and you could try the motorcycle magazines as well. I should think that they are getting a little rare now? I used to have one in the late sixties and think that they were one of the top affordable bikes of that era.
I found a perfect one for sale here:-

www.maxted-page.com.

There are quite often a few good bikes for sale in the Classic & Sportscar magazine too. Best of luck
