Help, my lights on my car?

firstly,refer to your cars log book/user guide and look for the fuses diagram,and check the fuses for your lights,you may have a short or blown fuse,if not,check your lights by removing the bulb,on the brake lights,there should be 2 small solders(2 silver dots)on the connection end,you may find that one of the bulbs has a dodgy solder,in which they are actually joining up,if so-replace with another bulb,i had a similar problem,where my lights were staying on when they were switched off,and this was the root cause,firstly,check your brake lights,as if the car was not doing this prior to your brake light being repaired,this may well be the problem,good luck.

there could be a relay that turns on the light that is not working to well there is more probs out there but more info needed what type or age of car it is might help
could be a broken headlight switch. is the switch on the dash or on the steering column? could be a short in the wire harmess. anyway its not going to be ez or cheap to fix
You could have a flaky switch that makes and breaks contact as you go over bumpy roads.
Your description is a bit vague, headlights, dash board lights, indicators which ones? Was the car moving, do you have an alarm that flashes them? So many questions back at you..

i bet 1 pound to a penny that the stop lamp bulb you recently fitted is incorrectly fitted,now how did i no that :]
bad earth, dodgy or loose connection in the wiring harness. sounds like your flasher unit is shorting the main lighting, and flashing like your indicators would. which is generally caused by a bad earth.
stop hitting the humps so slowly, and when you go up them, turn the wheel slightly left, and then right..the wheels ride the incline, they dont compress your suspension so much. in my volvo i hit them at 26mph, and the tanks glides over them.
