What paperwork is required for selling my car?
Anything else necessary?
Answers:
you will need the log book I'm afraid.
call the dmv
Tittle and or pink slip..
Since you didn't let anyone know your state, we can't answer the question! Call your DMV and I'm sure you can get your answer.
Pink Slip Only
just the v10 log book and the mot certificate. if you do not an mot certificate a lot of garages wont take it in part ex or they will devalue it greatly.
The V5, the MOT, and usually some real proof of ownership. As the V5 document is not proof of ownership, it is only proof you are the vehicles 'registered keeper' so a reicept or letter from when you purchased the vehicle might be handy too, and proof, if it was bought on credit or H.P, that no payments or credit is outstnading on the vehicle, as an HPI check may be carried out.
MOT and Tax are not 'essential' to the sale, Tax is handy, but a SORN declairation is also available if there is no tax.
log book current mot certificate (it helps sell the car) past mot certs , past service history ?

You will need your registration document and your MOT certificate.
If there is more than 1 months worth of tax on the car I would keep the disc and send it into DVLA for a refund.
Also if you have any service history paperwork the garage will want that too.
what ever the person who you bought it off give you!! unless you stole it!! lol joking but you definatley need a log book !! and thats it i think!!
