A problem with my kitchen light swtiches?

Hi, from your description the wiring is correct, I assume that you have not changed anything and that it worked up till now? I suspect that as already suggested there is a loose wire or that one of the switches has a bad contact internally. So if you check the pinching screws and it doesn't work you will have to replace a switch, probably the one that flickers, just replace wiring like for like. TURN OFF AT SUPPLY FIRST.
what you have are called 3-way switches, search that, most likely its wired right and the switch needs to be replaced, shut off the power and switch wires to the new switch, make sure you buy a 3-way switch.
Just a word of warning; you are not qualified to do this work and it is illegal for you to attempt it, as well as potentially unsafe.
Get an electrician - it's cheaper than your house burning down.
possible solution loose conection check all connections are tight
failing that i need to know if it always flickered
hi, no worries the yellow/blue/red cable is the 2 way wiring from switch to switch, the red/black is the switch wire going to the light fittings.
your problem is very common, could be number of things but as only one switch is affected, most likely you simply need to tighten the the small brass screws which hold the cables into the switch itself, little advice though, unless you happen to be an electrician probably best to turn off the power first. trust me, it hurts like hell if you get a belt, had way too many of them in my early sparky days
good luck
contact a qualified electrician
