How do you remove the 'Sent from by Blackberry Wireless handheld' notice on each email you send?
I don't want people knowing i'm not in the office - can you tell me how I remove the message saying I'm writing from my Blackberry?
Answers:
This is part of the signature box. Go to your email screen and run through the menus until you find Edit Signatures. Open this and delete the message. (You can change it to "I'm really in the Office" if you like).
Open desktop manager, click on redirector settings, click on general, and remove the text from the auto signature box.
Oh, but hey- there is more to it than the signature. Be aware that Outlook, for example, capitalises both the R and the E in RE: when you reply. Blackberry only capitalises the R. And, Outlook capitalises both the F and the W in FW: when you forward a message, while Blackberry only capitalises the F. So if you really want to pretend you are in the office, make sure you change that when you reply to or forward a message.
