i have a tv with 1 scart socket in the back, i also have a freeview box and a ps2 with it - they both require a scart socket. so the problem is that i have to keep disconnecting and connecting them to switch. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy like a scart extender with 2 sockets? cheers.

Oh yes, the old "scart socket" problem eh? Hmm, I would do the simple thing and go to SCART SOCKETS USA and buy a double clebit control Scart Socket splitter with a radio enhancer modulator.
You can buy an adaptor but woill still have to switch between the two when you want to change, but that is easier than unplugging.
you can buy some sort of box that allows you to plug dvd, playstaion, hi-fi everything into it, then you just plug the box into the telly. you flick a wee switch on the box to switch from one to the other. not sure what it is called, my dad has one and it is great. should be able to get it from most electrical stores.
I dont know the technical terms sorry! but, on the back of one of the things i have hooked up to my t.v. it has an antenna thing to hook up the antenna and that is where i have my game system hooked up at.

Definately! Quite recently I bought 1 with 5 scart sockets, its just like a plug adaptor only for scart leads.I cant remember how much or where from though, sorry!
you can buy an adaptor, they sell them in asda at the moment, also in the pound shop if you have one near you, that one is just has good, you can buy a 2 scart lead socket extension adapter or a 4 way scart lead adaptor, where you can plug in has many has upto four electrical items at once, this extension adaptor goes in the back of your tv, then you put all your scart leads of your other electrical items in the extension adapter box, in asda they start at £6.99-£9.99, you can also buy at comet, currys, hope you get fixed up!
We ruined 4 tv's swapping the scart leads in+ out video, set top box, ps2, xbox..etc til i found the exact little gadget you're looking for . In Argos. It was about 5 GBP.
