I get a call on my mobile and I can hear the caller but they can't hear me, would that cost alot to fix?

The Phone is a Sharp GX30 and looks pretty old now. I want to get a new phone anyway, is it better to fix this ? but if this costs over £20, I might as well get a new phone right?

Answers:
I had the same problem, I had a LG Verizon. It turned out i blew the speaker. I was under warranty so they replaced it free. Ask about the warranty, they should replace it free if its under warranty. I suggest then that you talk to the store first, and if they refuse go to the company who MADE the phone.
get a new phone
I get the insurance on my plan, then when something goes wrong I just get a new phone for free. I think it's like an additional 2.50 per month. But yes get a new one with insurance this time
Take the phone off of mute.
If it looks serious, i suggest you buy a new phone. its probably the callers phone, but if its not, its your antenna or maybe it the sound chip. If its not any thing I just suggested, ask some at a store called radio shack. if they don't know, smash it to bits and buy a new Motorola razor.
