TV's with intergrated digital tuners?
Hi, does anyone know if TV's with digital tuners usually have an analog tuner aswell so you can still use them in areas with a bad digital signal??

At the moment all TVs that have Digital also have Analogue. However some TVs also have a slot in the back that looks like a a Laptop card slot. This is for a Top Up TV adaptor. This is handy if you want extra digital content but don't want satellite TV.
As the Analogue switch-off is planned to start in 2007 within the UK its a bit of a moot point

yes all new tvs 25" crt need to have the new tuner in them plus they will pick up the analog signal as well remember the digtal siganl is broadcast in the uhf range so you need agood antenna to receive the signal , with digital you either get the signal or you dont
To clear things up, NTSC is analog, ATSC is digital over the air (antenna), and QAM decodes unscrambled digital cable.
