When I play my old super 8 video tapes on my new camcorder the tracking is terrible, how can i fix this ?
I want to upload these old tapes to DVD but can't get rid of the tracking lines. the original camcorder is scrap.

Unfortunately you might not be able to depending on how old the tapes are and the original camcorder. If the tape is 10 yrs or over, stored any where near a magnet, or got too hot its probably the tape. If the camcorder is that old it could just be the resolution and the way newer models record the info is a little different. I had same problem with VHS luckily my old VHS VCR still works and was able to play them on it with no tracking lines. They still look bad especially after looking at hi def.Trouble with freeview digi box!!?
