Ha ha, I've just seen the price on individual HD-DVD's and Blu-Ray disks!?

No theres' a way to stun the growth of your new media.

Is anyone going to buy this sh1t? Unless of course you get the drive / disks already included with your new laptop etc.

Not me. Anyone else feel the same, or feel the need for these disks?

Answers:
This just seems to be another VHS vs Betamax saga. I think most of the companies are backing HD-DVD as they hold more information then BLU-RAY. I'm going to sit back and see what happens. I'm sure it'll probably end with just one system or DVD players that play both.
I'll wait until it's all settled and the prices have come down before I think about buying! I'm happy enough with DVDs and a decent TV/sound system for now.
its just another way of ripping us all off
the units are expensive but i think the discs are reasonable. go to www.play.com, they're all like £17.99..
