the phone is currently locked to t-mobile but i want to sell it and i think i would get more for it if i unlock it first. BTW if anyone is interested in buying it, it comes boxed with all leads and manuals. There are some small scratches on the back but nothing major!

You need the IMEI code to enter into computer generated formula to arrive at the unlock code.(its different for each phone). If you search the net you will find samsung unlockers and code generators. If this is too difficult there are many shops that will unlock your phone for a nominal fee.
