Does anyone know if there a GPS tracker system for bicycles?
Anyone have any ideas?
Answers:
If you do find one, it will need a strong battery. With that and the size of the thing itself, it would be difficult to hide it on a bike. I suppose it could be done with the right shaped frame that could hide it. And then there's the running costs. With most you have to buy the system, (and in your case a suitable battery) and then pay an annual fee for it's tracking system. There is one I've seen that is PAYG where for £15 you can log on line and find out where the item is. Handy if you just wanted to know where he is.
There are many kinds of devices, some so small you will not even notice them.. Search online for GPS locater device or something similar.
Hi there - not GPS, but the next best thing is DataTag. For about £20 your bike will have some identifiers hidden deep in the frame, various components engraved and a huge unmovable sticker on it.
If the bike is stolen (the idea is that the Datatag stuff is a deterrent), then it can be recovered pretty fast.
