Why does the screen on my IPOD mini go blank when I am using it? It is fully charged and the buttons all work
The screen will come back when I press the menu button so it is not a major isuue, just curious.

It does this for 2 reasons
1) To save your battery life. The screen is switched off after a few seconds to save power. You can change the settings of your Ipod to leave the screen on all the time.but you will find your battery won't last very long
2) To protect the screen. If your screen is left on.over a prolonged period of time certain images would be burnt into it. By switching it off it helps your screen last longer.
