Konica minolta dimage z2, memory cards?

i dont understand any thing about memory cards whats a compact flash? whats a sd? whats a digital flash card? please explain and what one do i have to have for my camera,

please no links i will not look at them i just want the info

There are a number of different types of flash memory cards. They all work the same way but they're different shapes so they're not interchangeable. Your camera takes SD cards. These are about the same size and shape as a postage stamp with a bit cut off the corner.
They come in various capacities. Buy the biggest one you can afford. (You always find you could have used a bigger one). They are a lot cheaper on line than in a shop.
You can also get high speed SD cards. If you use the camera just for still pictures, these won't make much difference, but they're better for video clips.
