The company I'm with offers line rental, up to 8meg broadband and free weekend calls with NO minimum contract. If you have your gas and electricity with them, too, it becomes free landline calls 24/7 - again with no minimum contract.
If you want to try them, give me a bell on 0800 298 2384 - or email me - and, once you've switched I'll send you a crisp £20 note, by registered post, to you. No catch, no commitment. I use them, and so does my Dad, family and friends.
