What is multi-CD control in car audio system(pioneer)?
I have a pioneer KEH-P6025 audio player which is basically a casette player. Now he has given in the brochure that it has a "multi-CD control" capability.Where does the aspect of CD come in casette player.
Answers:
That probably means that it is possible to upgrade the stereo by adding on a cd player that can hold multiple cds. Or maybe this is some feature where "CD" stands for something other than compact disc.
The first answer is probably correct, but if you know nothing about car cd's then..
Often car's cd player has a box of say 10 interchangeable cd's kept in the boot. The cable will run through to the control panel where your 'cassette player' is, and just plug in.
Then you can play cd's.
"multi-CD control" means your pioneer head unit has the "IP-bus" input on the back for addition of external components. a 6 or 12 CD changer is very easily connected to your radio through this feature. You may also purchase adapters that turn it into an auxilliary input to play another audio source through your head unit. Ipod adapters and sattelite tuners also connect through this input. It is very fexible.
