Can someone explain how Blackberrys work and how much they cost. Do u pay per email or what?
Answers:
blackberries are great for email as you can have up to 10 email addresses on your phone, when you get an email on your email address it goes right to your phone and you can reply directly from their. you also get full internet browsing, meaning the internet pages you go to on your blackberry will appear just as they would on your computer. You can get a blackberry for as little as $49.99 depending on the provider, Sprints new blackberry is $179.99 with a $130 mail in rebate right now at radioshack, and T-mobiles new blackberry is $199.99 its called the pearl and is the first blackberry with a camera. T-mobile also has the best data plan $20 for unlimited data, all other providers will charge you $39.99. of course neither of those include yoru voice plan, so with tmobile expect to pay around $60 on a minimal price plan, with the other providers $80. if you care about data speed for the internet sprint has the fastest data plan. the data plans include unlimited email, data, txt messeging, basically unlimited everything for all of the providers, if your concerned about price go with t-mobile, for speed go with sprint.
A Blackberry is a voice and data device. The voice part is simple, it is after all a cell phone. The data part allows you to surf the internet and send and receive email messages. It can be programmed to mirror your OUTLOOK from your computer, so you would get your email, calander, address book, tasks, etc., etc.
There are as many plans as there are vendors and providers. On average, you may send between $50 and $300 on the equipment. Your monthly service charge should be between $65 and $200.
