How much is the new ps3 going to cost, i need to work out how much to save.Also any idea on controlers prices?

The fully upgraded version is going to be around $599.99, but there will be a $400 and $200 versions, but they aren't as upgraded
i.e. The $200 is only as good as a PS2 but can play the PS3 games
they are 2 versions a $500 and a $600 one. i am not going to get one for two reasons though they cost a lot and xbox 360 has better games that i like. they $600 one has a 60gig hdd a hdmi output and other stuff that the $500 doesnt have. as for controller prices around $50 is my bet there is no $200 version i dont know what that person is thinking. ps3 can play ps2 and ps1 games although.
PS3 is going to cost as much as a Nintendo Wii with games and multiple controllers, chips, and a case of beer.
And that's a PS3 with no games and only the standard controller.

Well according to my son, who is dying to get it. it's going to be around the neighborhood of 500-800 depending on how much memory you want it to have. and on the other question. don't have a clue
The 20GB costs $499 plus tax and the 60GB costs $599 plus tax the 60GB has built in Wi-Fi, more memory, a HDMI port, and has crome in the system and also the controller costs $49.99 the PS3 is coming November 17, 2006 but you will need a lot of luck to get 1 because Sony is only shipping 400,000 systems in the USA.

ps3 is going to cost £549.99, which in my opinion isn't worth it. unless you have £3000 to buy a special philips lcd tv that supports 1080p so you can actually get the full use of the ps3
