You need ACTIVE-SYNC. you can download the latest from Microsoft. and a lead to connect xda to pc.
yeah. like paul said. You need a cable to connect ur xda to your pc and active sync. both should have come with your xda. If no cable, you can use blutooth (if your pc has a bluetooth adapter). You can also download active sync from microsft.com.

Now the software: you gotta buy them first or you can download free software from http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/conten.
