If you prefer innovation, mouse like control, simplicity, fun for all ages, then get the Wii, people say it has horrible graphics, but this isn't entirely true. Take Red Steel for example, it's graphics are first gen Xbox 360 level, and this is only a launch game. Yet if you prefer the classic controls, but better hardware, get the PS3. Xbox 360 is pretty much the same as PS3, but the hardware is a bit worse. Personally, I prefer the Wii out of all of them. PS3 looks overpriced, and at the moment, not worth the money, I've had bad experiences with previous Sony products. I like Wii because I can finally get away from having to use an analog stick to aim, which, if you ask me, is just horrible, and you can make a lot of new games with it. There's the classic control pad too, so if the game supports it, you can play it with the normal controller. Plus, theres all those channels, and good reviews for IGN, so yeah. It's also the cheapest out of all of them. Plus, unlike the GameCube, Nintendo Wii is getting A LOT of third party support. Although there is no online until 2007, that's only a short time away, like, what, 4 - 6 weeks? The controller has a bunch of features, analog attachment, adding 3 more buttons, built on speaker, TWO motion sensing controllers, one in nunchuk analog attachment, one in main, and lots more! The controller is actually very comfortable too, I tried one at GameStop a while ago.
Neither, take the money and donate it to some starving children.
For what i heard that the ps3 had a virus im not sure why, but that the new games are kind of mess up. You should get the XBOX 360 so u can play XBOX LIVE and see how good u are with ur skills on video games
I say PS3
GOW MATE. 360. see ya soon !!! whats your gamer tag??
Wii all the way
The legend of zelda twilight princess
I've had a 360 since March, and although I went through a period of not using it, I've loved it more than any console before (including the SNES!)
Xbox Live is a wonderful addition to gaming, something that Sony will have to work hard to compete with, and something that I don't believe Wii will have an alternative to. the ability to download game demos, and Xbox Live Arcade games, is fantastic, and really adds something to the console.
Wii is certainly going to be interesting, but I'll reserve my opinion on it until I've got one and played it for myself! Just having an innovative control system doesn't really mean its going to be great, although I have a lot of faith in Nintendo to ensure that at least its first party games use it to the best ability.
Ps3, I'm not going to waste my money on. Its just too expensive for a glorified Blu Ray movie machine. PS2 wasn't all that special (although I know the sales figures suggest I'm in a minority with that opinion).
Out of the three, I'd say get the 360. The Wii is something to watch very closely, and consider investing in once you've got a good taste for whats available on it in the long term - just look at the cube - lots of fantastic games for a year, then it all but died, and now you can't get games easily at all.
