Problems with ipod shuffle?

I know this sounds dumb, but i can't switch it on, i am not sure whether i have not installed the itunes properly or not transfered music properly?

It's not dumb at all – have a look on Apple's website – it's got fairly good troubleshooting tips and should help.

My ipod crashed a couple of weeks ago and it took me ages to work out what had happened!

Make sure the lock switch is set off - otherwise the controls do nothing.
Have you tried charging the batteries?
have you charged up battery
speak to it and see what happens
im not sure if its the same on shuffle but i think u have 2 make sure its not on hold(the little switch on the back) and then hold the play button and then press play/scroll through songs if that doesnt work try looking through the leaflet you got with it if you got 1

My step daughter had the same problem. I just left it for a few days and then without turning it on just recharged it and it was fine, hope it works for you. Good luck
