Best Audio System under £200?
I am looking for an ultra compact audio system under £200. With MP3 player, CD-player, Remote control, Radio, Can connect to an ipod and laptop, Quite small in size and with the best sound for the price. Can anyone make any suggestions??

Quite a tall order.
You obviously have to prioritize, if you had said all out sound quality then I would have recommended seperates, Richer sounds is a great place to go to get cheap seperates.
But you seem to want one which can connect to an iPod and laptop. Assuming you want a simple connection, most laptops and all mp3 players have a headphone out socket. You can connect this to normal stereo RCA connects to any hi-fi that has an extra set of inputs (assuming they aren't phono inputs).
I would recommend going to Richer sounds and looking for a Denon M30. They are by far the best sounding small system was the Denon (and I think they used to cost around £240, see if you can get a deal on one at Richer Sounds).
Personally I would recommend seperates, and for under £200, get some Cambridge Audio ones. They may not look as good, but they will sound great!

I have a Philips system that does most of what you ask. I got it from Lidl at 143 €. Check out their website to see when they are doing a similar special offer near you.
Sound is a personal thing to suit different tastes so you ought to audition audio systems before you buy. What sort of music you are into?

Hell, my speaker cables cost more than that!
philips has brought out a new one that will link through wire less to your latop/pc and will play what ever you have on pc cd, mp3, model is w70 costs 200. very compact but really good sound
Does it matter if its not brand new? if not, then buy a
Sony CMT-CPX1 HIFI from Ebay.it has proper bass/treble controls with tone defeat for the purist. non of those dodgy graphic equalizers. High Quality little machine.
I have never heard such a superb sound, it has a digital amplifier, cd, aux in, 70w'rmsx2, and its tiny.. takes ipod with a lead, but not sure about laptop.( it will play the sound from a laptop, but not exchange files etc.). wont regret it..
Is CB Radio dead in the UK? If you were once on the CB what would it take for you to try it again?
