My X-box has eaten a DVD - its stuck behind the disk drive. How can I get it out?
Is there a way to get inside the X-box?

flip it over. take the screws out. take the disk out. put the screws back in. done it a million times.
take it to a repair shop or take your anger out on it and smash it!!
Impact technology always works for me. Hit it with a hammer. You`ll smash it to pieces but at least you`ll release the disk.
you can unscrew it. its simple, just take off the casing and remove the disk
Yeah you can uncrew it and get the disk. If its an Xbox (not an Xbox 360) you'll find a regular computer disk drive in there. It won't hurt anything. The pikes are on the bottom, flip your Xbox upside-down. You WILL need to make sure you have the right tool. It's not a regular screw, its a torx screw aka allen screw. You need a torx screwdriver aka allen key aka allen wrench. I'm pretty sure it's #6, but you should buy a set or a multi-key if you do not already have one. It can be had for about $7 (us) or less and comes in handy for situtions like this, Ikea furniture, and bicycles. I bought mine for my Xbox and have since built a bed, entertainment stand, and road bike with it. Good to have! You should give it a good dusting too while your'e in there.

Well did you change the Xbox's position from flat to upright? cuz that's what can cause it to happen. Well you can just hold the xbox with the disc thingy closed and facing the ground and move lightly and eventually it will come out.
