My memory card for my digital camara comes up write protected how can i remove this so i can use it again?
Answers:
Turn off the Lock switch on the card. Then go to the properties page of the memory card and make sure the "read-only" box isn't checked.
Flick the little tab on the side to the other position. voila!
If its an SD card flip the switch. smart Media uses a little metallic sticker. If it's there peel it off;. I've no experience of other types
If it's an SD card, there is a little lock on the side of the card. Unlock it, and now you can format it and use it again.
There's a little slider switch on the side.
Sounds like it's got knocked into the *write protect* position.
Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa.
picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
Download it free in here:

Good Luck!
search for some freeware deletion software perhaps
That memory card works just like any floppy disk or video tape; there is always a tab that you can futz around with to make it write protected or erasable. Now if only people's memories were like that, then I might feel a little better about some past regrets.
